The Under Solen team is in Telluride this weekend for Mountainfilm (which we’re very excited about) and it’s a great reminder of just why we’ve chosen to turn play into work and vice versa. On our trail run this morning, Emily and I had a long discussion about the value of making sure that we spend time outdoors, not just because it’s good for our sanity, but because it reminds us of why we do what we do.
The more we can encourage people to enjoy the outdoors, be it in a state park, on a backcountry trail or even just an afternoon picnic in a green urban space, the better the chance we have for protecting the places that we love. When you see nature in its purest form, it’s hard to not want to do your part to take care of it and ensure that it’s here for future generations. And that’s why we highly believe in mixing work with play.
On that note, we’re off to enjoy Telluride, and we hope that this Memorial Day weekend takes you outside as well!
